Company Profile

The owners of imported cars who shared the many problems mentioned above created a nonprofit organization (an interest group) called the German Car Club (GCC) on the internet in 1997.
Since then, over 3,500 members of the GCC have shared their information, wisdom, knowledge and experience in various fields. They have also created a database of parts numbers and maintenance information of almost all European cars, which made it possible to supply any products needed for the repairs to both garages and general users at bargain prices.
At the end of 1999, Speed Japan was set up by the initiative of more than 200 members of the GCC and more than 150 equity participants, with the slogan “Knock down the rigid structure of imported car market.”

The company’s corporate mission has been to “Create a society where everyone can own and maintain imported cars with peace of mind.”
Speed Japan intends to revolutionize the environment surrounding imported cars.
Our knowledge, technology and human resources enable us to run a business of not only selling parts, but also providing maintenance information and special tools to garages.

Shortly after our launch, we now are Japan's largest trading company dealing with parts for European vehicles.
Our business ballooned so much that we have been attracting a big attention from the automobile industry and mass communications; as such, our company was greatly introduced in Yomiuri Newspaper (September 14 morning paper) and the daily publication automobile newspaper (August 28). Moreover many of the car magazines like "F-ROAD", "Kurumania" and "German Cars" came to cover our business success.
Currently, we are in cooperation with some magazines and are updating our own page every month.

In the future we'll be proud of our business, and to our children, we will say "Now YOU can own an imported car without fear because WE have accomplished a great achievement."

The Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry authorized Speed Japan as an auspicious venture company aiming for IPO (initial public offering). By this certification, we can increase the stock option from 10% to 33% of all issued shares and we can issue preferred shares up to 50% of all issued shares.
We can also take advantage of Angel tax system.

Greeting

If you can own a Mercedes Benz, a Porsche, or any other high-class imported cars from Europe out of your personal efforts, it must be a wonderful experience.

For the people who own these cars for status symbol, the very high-price itself has its own meaning.
But for the users who own these cars because they find pleasure in driving them or because of a practical use vehicle, the imported vehicles do not have to represent their status.
They own them just because they like them.

While criterions are diverse, the users, who think it irrational
that they cannot get their favorite cars and keep them at a price matching their actual value, increase every year and even do prevail nowadays.

One could think ;
“Why does an 8 million yen vehicle in Germany cost 15 million yen in Japan?” Or “Why does a 10,000 yen repair charge in Germany cost 20,000 yen in Japan?”
The reason is simple ;
It is exactly because the whole import automobile industry, including parts or maintenance, cannot give up a quarter of a century old idea that an imported vehicle = rich man's status.
Therefore the industry cannot catch up with a change in users’ sense of values.

Another issue ; what are your worries when you have an imported vehicle, especially a parallel-imported one?
I’m sure one of them is the high cost of the repair charges.
And I’m sure it also worries you that there are not many garages which can repair the imported cars in Japan.
That’s because the dealers in Japan will not disclose enough technical information about their imported vehicles and never offer any special tools required in the repairs.
For this reason they can monopolize the market and keep their high prices.
In fact many of the garages can’t fix imported vehicles well due to lack of information and even if they can complete their repair, they can’t reset the warning display without a special diagnostic tester.

Speed Japan has the technology, information and talented staffs, that can solve these problems.
We are aiming to create a society in which everyone can have an imported car without fearing for the future.
